Seal
On a Light Blue disc, a White single arched bridge throughout masoned Black, displaying a Gold polestar on the keystone, between an American eagle with wings displayed horizontally Proper, grasping a crossed Red arrow and a Green olive branch above and below a circle of five Gold stars, all within a circular Silver chain.  All encircled by a Dark Blue designation band, edged Silver, displaying in base the inscription "INTERAGENCY PROGRAM OFFICE" between two discs, all below the inscription from lower left to lower right "DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE - DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS" all Gold.

Symbolism
The bridge suggests the union of two distinct organizations-the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs--to create a single point of accountability to focus on the service members health and benefits illustrated by the keystone and polestar.  The eagle, a symbol of the United States, represents military vigilance and strength.  Grasping the red arrow (war) and olive branch (peace) indicates the service members transition from battle, returning home and leaving military service.  The circle of five stars, illustrating a pentagon, symbolizes the headquarters of the Department of Defense and also alludes to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.  The chain represents the lasting communication link of electronic information and data shared between DOD and VA.  The placement of the inscription, "INTERAGENCY PROGRAM OFFICE," denotes the fact that the office sits in the middle of the two departments.
